Game Thread, Twins vs. Cardinals, 6/18 @ 12:10 pm CT

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

All we need is a bloop, a couple walks, a passed ball, and a wild pitch, and we are right back in this thing.

or 3 triples

[twinsnorth49]

Not that I condone the Punto-slide into first.

nope

[Gibby]

or 3 triples

  I was being realistic.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

So sneaky getting his hand in there the umps missed it at game speed.

Horses, Goats... What other livestock can we incorporate into this thread?

[twinsnorth49]

That's two in two days, why pay a 1st base ump? Just use the video.

[Gibby]

I'd kill for a walk and a wild pitch right now.

[ashbury]

Jaime Garcia is on Cruise Control.

The other team's... you can't... it doesn't work that...I don't think...

Hey! It totally worked!

Everyone but the Twins in the AL Central are on Cruise Control!

[70charger]

Is it just me, or did Nunez look super surprised that he made contact with that bunt? Wasn't even a terrible bunt!

[twinsnorth49]

Nunez with the whoops bunt.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Well, ya got a walk...

While a wild pitch would be cool and all, i'm not wedded to the idea.

Anything not involving an out would be fine by me.

Big Vargas, no whammy!

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Make everyone happy, Kennys

Not so fast buddy, we need to see a run score before your ass is safe.

[Ultima Ratio]

However unlikely, I don't understand why wouldn't run out a sac bunt.  Stepping back out behind the batters box to watch the bunt is just silly.

[USMCTwin]

DH low for the twins?  They walk Suzuki to face the DH.

Edit:  I guess not technically our DH today.

[twinsnorth49]

Ok Kennys, breakout time.

[70charger]

Dammit. Coulda used a passed ball.

[Circus Boy]

or 3 triples

But that will score only one run. We need at least two runs, I believe.

[USMCTwin]

Brutal, just brutal.

[Ultima Ratio]

Do Mauer and Vargas share the same cereal spoon? For shame!

[twinsnorth49]

**** off!!!!

[PseudoSABR]

Vargas keeps showing why he doesn't belong.  Maybe if we bat Mauer and Vargas back to back we can better avoid double plays.

[USAFChief]

sigh.

Don't bunt.

[Danchat]

I just started watching the game to see the Twins blow yet another bases loaded situation. I think that whenever I'm watching and the bases are loaded, the Twins slash line is .000/.000/.000.  Whenever I'm not watching it's something like .380/.440/.510.

So I'll do you guys a favor and turn off my TV.

We are at a low, no doubt.

[Aggies7]

I've seen about enough of Kenys.

[Hrbowski]

Too bad the Twins hadn't put on the triple steal.

[ashbury]

Hey! It totally worked!

The nominations for jinx goat of the day are piling up.

Me too. Bring up Arcia.
