Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Ewok jokes are, by definition, at the ewok's expense...On the other hand, i never thought of it, but that could well be a thing.Does anyone know any good ewok jokes? If not, can anyone come up with one or more? Q: What Side of an Ewok has the most hair A: The Outside
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Apparently ChiTown is prepared to make Ewok jokes at your expense.Speaking of ChiTown, has anybody seen what she did to my profile?
Patrick Midthun Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Willie, Carl or Joe?LOL I mean May.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Whatta ya do with an Ewok with 3 balls? I'm going with E Walk Him
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 I'm going with E Walk Him...and pitch to the droid. Correct!
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Trevor May has thrown a lot of pitches.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Is that now THREE, count 'em THREE, hits given up on 0-2 counts? In 4.1 innings. FINE. HIS. ASS.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 OPS is now @ .941Is good news but only half the story. I'd like some eyewitness scouting reports on his routes etc in the outfield.

Ewok jokes are only funny in their native Ewokian language -- their very dry humor does not translate well into English. There are some bad Ewok jokes however. http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll4/Salguod_photo/star-wars-ewok-mordor.jpg
70charger Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Does May come back out for the sixth? Looks like he was losing (didn't have?) control of his breaking stuff. It is encouraging that he can get strikeouts with his fastball-changeup combo, though.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Well answered all. I'm still trying come up with why an ewok crossed the road... But the class of jokes that answer the question "what's grosser than gross?" may translate well with furry in place of gross... (The originals don't make much sense either) I was thinking also of the movie "karate wookie" and its training scene: "ewoks on, ewoks off"... er... i'm too lazy at the moment to think of more... and games need watching.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Does May come back out for the sixth? Looks like he was losing (didn't have?) control of his breaking stuff. I would hope so. He's gotta be the best guy in the rotation for the bulldog role. Good chance to learn to fight through situations without his best stuff, particularly when they really need him. Would love to see him K a couple guys this inning.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Why'd the Ewok cross the road? To get to Chief's lawn. Chief: Get off my lawn! Okay, that was bad, but the best I could do after a long day at work and just getting home.
zchrz Provisional Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Willie, Carl or Joe? Billie http://abcnews.go.com/images/GMA/abc_gma_billy_mays_090629_mn.jpg
Patrick Midthun Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Molitor with a classic Gardy move there. Pulled him as he approached the 100-pitch mark.

Now that i'm thinkin' about it, perhaps i'd answer "to crush the evil empire" and leave it at that. Maybe teddy bears could feature in the answer?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Okay, that was bad, but the best I could do concur.
Platoon Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 I was ruminating on the old standard also, why did the Ewok cross the road? But then it occurred to me that I have never saw an Ewok cross a road, which caused me to wonder why I would then care about why an Ewok would cross a road, which reminded me that I had never seen a real Ewok, which made the whole thought process moot!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Time's getting shorter for a comeback... I hope we can chase Chavez soon?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 I'm fine with removing May there. This is on Duensing, not Molly.
FattCrapps Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 I'm fine with removing May there. This is on Duensing, not Molly.I would have pulled him when facing Lawrie.
SydneyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 A lot seems to have been on Duensing lately...
Patrick Midthun Verified Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Molitor with a classic Gardy move there. Pulled him as he approached the 100-pitch mark. I like May/Davis better than Duensing/Lawrie. Trevor is ticked. Well, we need to score runs to win anyway...

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Sooooooo... yes. Yep and the walk... That Call... Kept him from finishing 6 and getting the QS

Would love to see him K a couple guys this inning.Liked that he came back out, and would have liked to see him work through a mild jam there in the sixth. Still, can't complain too much about that kind of outing from a guy who's technically still a rookie. Just got to get the bats going.
