Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 If he remembers how to throw a baseball he'll be fine. Right now he looks like random guy off the street throwing real hard at a dunking booth. It's tough, trying to live up to everyone's expectations.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 That Moss at-bat was brutal. Two looking strikes, then 4 foul balls, eventually working walk on 10 pitches
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 OK Plouffe -- hit one into the bay.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Dudeuno.... oh no!In comparison... Pinpoint control.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 I'm definitely gonna have to check brooksbaseball tomorrow for this one. May missed badly on some but I think he might have gotten robbed on others. inb4 "if you are wild you won't get borderline calls" yada yada
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 In comparison... Pinpoint control. Not always.

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Get 3 runs back....Don't let him take the loss in the 1st game
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 There is a drug that would help him -- Inderol. It blocks the production of adrenaline.I'd recommend Nowalkzatol.
EephusKnuckler Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 From the looks of it, May is done for the night. Slick Rick was consoling him and gave him a pat on the back. BLEH. Rick Anderson love tap = kiss of death.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Hammer...SMH trade him already

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Samardzia must have been used as a pinch runner at some time.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 That is why we aren't a playoff team
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Hammer...SMH trade him alreadywhy would a contender want that?
Jocko87 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 When he throws a fastball... He's trying to throw it 95 and he ain't got 95. Over compensating on everything. He's gotta line up with the catcher... Keep his body together... Release top of the shoe and follow through.I was thinking the exact opposite. It looks like every move he makes is sized to someone 5'6 instead of 6'5. Very tentative, especially on the throws to first. He just looked uncomfortable and not confident.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 why would a contender want that?Maybe a Contending tripple A team would like him?
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 This game ain't gonna end well.Remember that game when the Twins were leading by like 15 runs and the As came back and won? We need that in reverse.
EephusKnuckler Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 That is why we aren't a playoff team Because they suck? Ya, probably right
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Enjoy the rest of the game -- and bring them back. I've unfortunately seen all I (didn't) want to see.
