Willihammer Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 In ice cream news, pistacchio ice cream with crunched up sugar cone on top is really good
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Lol ... talking about Vargas almost taking off Lowrie's man bits ...The strange thing... If you ever catch one in that spot. Your Kidneys is where it hurts.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 I'm guessing each like triggers more database transactions than you might expect.Yeah, I'm sure there's a technical reason for it, but since I'm not a tech head I couldn't even attempt a guess
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Vargas looked pretty fast running to first. Willingham needs to lay off the high fastballs. I need to start thinking about dinner.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 In ice cream news, pistacchio ice cream with crunched up sugar cone on top is really good What brand has that?

glunn Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Okay, who here will be at the pub crawl?I am afraid of getting too wasted to enjoy the game that night.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 Stoneridge. Also more locally, Sebastian Joe's.I used to live down the street from Sebastian Joes on Franklin and Hennepin.Always was a fan of the raspberry choc chip
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 I am afraid of getting too wasted to enjoy the game that night.I don't plan on drinking anything. Might taste a thing or two but will mostly stick to pop.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 I used to live down the street from Sebastian Joes on Franklin and Hennepin.Always was a fan of the raspberry choc chipI used to live on Lake Street... Across from K-Mart and White Castles... And above a Rocky Rococco.
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 MenuThis is my go to place now.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 This is my go to place now.Tonight... I'd probably order the Oysters... A Beer and I'd wink at the waitress.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 I used to live down the street from Sebastian Joes on Franklin and Hennepin.Always was a fan of the raspberry choc chipYa its all great innit. There's a place in Fridley called Grandpas, rumor is they make a mean pineapple. I'm up there next I think.
glunn Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Maybe next time the Twins should have Deduno pitch the first few innings until the Twins are hopelessly behind then have May come in as long reliever with a lot less on the line?

glunn Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Tonight... I'd probably order the Oysters... A Beer and I'd wink at the waitress. We go there a lot. There are two waitresses most nights and a lot of waiters. They are all on a first name basis with my dog, who loves the calamari and the mushroom pizza. The mushroom pizza is the best dish on the menu. Also, I would never order oysters in a month without an "r". I had a bad oyster experience in my youth.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 Maybe next time the Twins should have Deduno pitch the first few innings until the Twins are hopelessly behind then have May come in as long reliever with a lot less on the line? What's on the line anyway? It's not like we're in the hunt for anything. It was his first MLB start. It's not like he's projected to be an ace type pitcher. While we were all hoping for better, I think some perspective is warranted here.

I also remember when Lyle's had the big cheese block during happy hour just a block away. Did not always eat healthy back then.. I don't think I am going to make it to the end- I am hoping that they will rally in the 7th and 8th and wint the game. I will kick myself for going to bed and missing the comeback, but I can live with that if it means a win.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Sheesh. Longest single of the year?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 No wind in the sails after May. Deduno ain't breathing life into anything either. I can't see a come back.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 Tonight... I'd probably order the Oysters... A Beer and I'd wink at the waitress. No oysters for me. Can't eat clams either. Unless I want to become deathly ill.

But maybe this is a kid who might benefit from some low pressure long relief to build confidence with the least possible amount of pressure.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 No oysters for me. Can't eat clams either. Unless I want to become deathly ill.Just a beer and a wink at the waitress for you
