    Yes, this is an instant classic. Although, within a week of Thanksgiving, it's nightmarish to have Zach "I missed first base" Granite jammed back into your stream of consciousness.

    As a fellow Twins fan who lived through the Ron Davis years, this is accurate. You never really recover from the RD experience. I remember a middle school Spanish class where the authorized topic of conversation for the entire hour was how awful RD was.

    Happy that this train wreck on top of a car crash of a season is over and done with. I felt a bit of sadness on Sunday that there is no more Twins baseball for 2021... yet, no more pain. Sweet release.

    I can't remember a season where there were fewer things to care about at the end of a losing season. I see very few items of interest to keep the fan base engaged.

    That's why when I have the same rant about how awful the Minnesota championship drought is, I clarify "men's professional sports teams". Otherwise, people throw the Lynx, UMD hockey, and other titles won by teams located in this state in your face. Just for the record, I do consider the Lynx championships as equal to a Twins, Vikings, Wild, or Wolves championship just a different category.

    The weather, ballpark, giveaways, and watching opposing players of interest are the remaining reasons to attend a Twins game at Target Field at this point in the 2021 season.
