    He had a great career that season. Those 178 triples in 1977 put him in 18th place for most triples in a career.

    The Mike Bell passing was difficult. He was just a few years younger than me and I still feel young-ish. We have to really not take life for granted, it's so precious and time is fleeting.

    While I am not a fan of Dick Bremer in the booth, he did make statements about being back at the ballpark that have stuck in my brain. Basically, Dick's message was that he will never again take for granted the privilege of attending (in his case, announcing) a major league baseball game. I also attended my most games ever at Target Field in 2021 and made baseball road trips to watch the Twins. I savored every moment.

    Maybe if you only go by the book and focus on longevity. Again, just maybe. I will always take Kirby as the #1 greatest Twins player ever along with the two World Series championships.

    Being 15 years old in 1987 and 19 in 1991, Kirby couldn't have made a bigger impression on me as a baseball crazed teenager. I'd give tens of thousands of dollars today to go back in time to that Metrodome and hear the "Kirbeeeeee Puckett" on the PA and see those championship teams again.

    Hrbek was snubbed and did not make the ASG roster one year early in his career. He stated in the press somewhere along the lines of he will never and doesn't want to go to the ASG again and everyone obliged. I'm sure a quick Google search can confirm the details, that's the version I remember anyway. Everyone who has lived in the the Twin Cities for an extended period of time seems to (greater Minnesota also to an extent) have a Herbie story. He's approachable and just a normal guy.

    Time heals most wounds. I'd think at some point the Twins and Knoblauch might want to reunite and do the induction. Not all Twins legends have squeaky clean histories.

    The Twins cancelled his induction into the Twins Hall of Fame in 2014 when he was charged with assaulting a family member. He certainly deserves it based on the numbers. I wonder if the Twins will ever change course and induct Knoblauch into the Twins Hall of Fame?

    I'd rather see a season opening rotation with Ober, Ryan, Dobnak, Balazovic, and Duran over Dylan Bundy. Maybe the FO can catch lightning in a bottle with Bundy, doubtful though.

    Hall of Very Good along with Torii Hunter. Hall of Horrible as a broadcaster so far. Yes, he has improved since he started. He's still awful behind the mic and having Mr. Bland Dick Bremer by his side doesn't help.

    Yes, this is an instant classic. Although, within a week of Thanksgiving, it's nightmarish to have Zach "I missed first base" Granite jammed back into your stream of consciousness.

    As a fellow Twins fan who lived through the Ron Davis years, this is accurate. You never really recover from the RD experience. I remember a middle school Spanish class where the authorized topic of conversation for the entire hour was how awful RD was.

    I already have my hotel reservations in Cooperstown so I can witness the 2024 Hall of Fame induction of Joe Mauer.

    Happy that this train wreck on top of a car crash of a season is over and done with. I felt a bit of sadness on Sunday that there is no more Twins baseball for 2021... yet, no more pain. Sweet release.

    I can't remember a season where there were fewer things to care about at the end of a losing season. I see very few items of interest to keep the fan base engaged.
