    Sonny gray to start , Cole sands promoted yesterday to the club and sent back to AAA without pitching , Nothing like messing with one head , FO and Rocko are still pulling the strings

    If Bundy's last two starts are any indication , Last night being his worst ... He won't be in the rotation , archer is still a question mark but is pitching in the mid 90's ,,, they just are not turning him loose yet as he builds up stamina due to late signing and short spring training

    I do see a Better vibe or chemistry with the players , was donaldson a prima Donna , of course he was , did that reflect towards a negative clubhouse , baldelli says no

    Is the twins rotation for real is the question !!!! All depends your definition of real , Are they good or are they bad ? ,,, So far the starting pitching has been decent with the exception of a few starts , Will it continue ? , it will have its ups and downs just like any teams pitching staff .... Does it have what it takes to win during the season ( better than last year's odds ) The real question though is Does it have what it takes to win once we get to the playoffs ?

    They look new and improved and playing great ball the past dozen games ,, still small concerns on starting pitching ( we have depth ) .... bullpen is the biggest concern where we are not competitive enough ( not alot of depth ) ,,, Bullpens win games .... Twins will win games through the season but playoffs come down to pitching ( studs , aces and bulldogs )

    Let's just say 500 would be competitive but if thing goes good we could do better .. We are already stricken with the injury bug on a half a dozen players ... we started out bad , but have only played good baseball in the last dozen games ... Still not sure what their identity is ...

    No concerns at firstbase , Arreaz and miranda for now ,,, see how it goes ... Like most , catcher is not a strength ... keep the ball in front of you boys , block it , smother it , whatever you have to do Last year's catching even wasn't that good as there was alot of wild pitches and passed balls ,,, alot of those wild pitches should have been call passed balls In my opinion but with a runner moving up a base they called it a wild pitch ... Catching is a problem for most teams in the league as to many wild pitches or passed balls probably led to a record of runners scoring from third base ....

    My concern is still the bullpen ,,, duffey , pagan , stashak and theilbar ,,, have not looked all to impressive but maybe a couple of them will work it out .... What has impressed me this past week of games is the the twins batters are hitting alot of doubles ... way better and exciting baseball than a bunch of solo homeruns ,,, lots of running the bases and not homerun trots ..... Last night the twins got 10 hits , 7 of those hits were doubles , 2 singles and 1 three run game changing bomba .... Good offensive game, Highlight on defense : Correa made an awesome catch with his back to the infield in no man's land ...

    Only west and east coast teams get the recognition ( bigger markets) .... This is minnesota and not a privilege to live here ... Get use to it

    Yes I like the idea of checking back monthly on the acquisitions the FO made .... The return dividends are amazing , and the twins are winning and playing solid baseball the past dozen games ... I felt we overpaid on all the trades but next month I might feel differently

    All good questions , I don't think they would use him back to back days because of the lack of innings pitched since 2019 .... 2 inning saves would be alright if they don't use him back to back ..... If he holds out with no injury as the closer , and produces quality results , the front office would be smart to stick with him as closer .... Bullpens are what wins most games ( yes there are some stud starters ) and Duran solidifies almost a qauranteed victory in the ninth inning .... I know I'm getting ahead of myself a bit but that was a very impressive save last night ,,, best in many years as a twin

    Game ball goes to Correa's defense , some exceptional plays made ... and to Duran closing it out 1 , 2 , 3 , in a pressure situation ,,,, this is who we need to be competitive ,, we have never had a closer with this kind of stuff .... Graturol might have been but got traded

    They used Duran in the closer role in 2 to 1 victory over Baltimore ... Outstanding 1 , 2 , 3 inning , no edge of your seat performance , he was poised and looked like he was relishing in that role .... He's got the right stuff for closer ... I guess someone in front office might read twins daily

    I'll get the ball rolling ... Royce Lewis certainly would be my choice but he needs to establish his game before a promotion ... I wish they would play him in the outfield like he did in the AZL league which he won mvp of the fall league in 2019 .... He's athletic enough and might find an earlier opening in the outfield if Correa stsys

    We are still out here ,,, What really bothers me about them is they don't connect with the fans and tell us the plan ,,,, In interviews they stray from answering the questions honestly and last season during the worst season of twins baseball they could hardly be seen giving interviews during the first half , but in the second half they were back in front of the cameras Be Essing their way through the season when twins were playing better ball .... Just wanted to let you know that we are still here and give my thoughts and not an argument

    Remember the last pitcher that threw over 100 in 2019 as a reliever , the FO traded for a starting pitcher the next off season .... Sure hope they aren't show casings him and follow a pattern this off season and trade him cause he has been fun to watch in the bullpen and should be given the opportunity to close ... Rookie or not , closer role is his to lose and I don't think we would be sitting on the edge our seats as he closes , unlike with the other options we have ..... Alot of clubs like hard throwers and have given many rookies a closer role and found success .... We need to take a chance if we are competitors FO .... I don't need to name any of the players written above , you should all know who I am talking about , Now only if the FO and manager would read twins daily

    Winning streaks and plenty of them , beat the teams we should and even the better teams to prove we are competitive for the playoffs or a playoffs series win is in doubt , but one win would be nice

    If the FO office and coaches have found and tweaked his mechanics to better him , it's all great but it's to small of a sample size to know what kind of a pitcher he really is going to be ,,, rookie year was good , next 2 seasons not so good ...

    I'm not ready to cut sano any slack , He has no concentration in the game , takes 3 pitches for strikes without swinging , oh my , he can't identify the pitches , maybe .... Baserunning there was no need for sano to run to second because his run didn't matter, what mattered was the 2 runners ahead of him scoring the tying and winning run , Not sure why larnach held at third but ursela should have easily been on third if larnach came to score the tying run on sano error / hit .... The twins do need to practice Baserunning and keep there minds on the game and ball ... Just the facts ,

    Ho-----ly cow ..... Halsey hall ...... Herb was great at calling a game ... Gordon was okay and as the game changes so does the announcing , provich is alright , gladden is just being gladden and tells it like it is , if it's unacceptable , it's is unacceptable
