Last night stung, but I said going into this series I'll be satisfied with a 1-2 series in San Diego.

Fellas, are you hungry or are you starving?

Still a chance at a .500 trip but last night was really one that got away. The Bats lost their voice once again...

Sigh. I'm ashamed to say thinking about that game kept me up tossing and turning last night. Can we ever have a winning West Coast road trip?

I fell asleep with a 5-1 lead.

I'll take the blame for last night going south. (by the way, what i miss?)

Had i only stayed awake a little longer...

You mean you've never heard the baseball gods proclaim to that question: No; NADA; Never; Not a snowball's chance; You're kidding, right?; when he** freezes over; etc.?

Plus the A's usually give us fits, just like KC does, regardless of where they play.

Yes, shame on the Twins if they think the trip to Sacramento is going to be a cakewalk. Bad juju in that park imo.

I think it is more the fans who think it will be a cakewalk in Sacramento.  And with the bad juju, they need to overcome that and put their foot on the gas and not let up.

WHAT in heavens name is Marte doing??

"“I want to manage baseball games. I want to do what I love doing between the white lines and not have to answer these types of questions. ... I don’t love the drama that follows this ballclub. I want to be a good baseball team and we’ve got to figure this out.

I would DFA his arse.

They have him under contract through 2030. I don’t think I would eat 3 years $44m of my best player and fan favorite.

it would be like Buxton (if he were to flake out, which he wouldn’t) getting DFA’d.

its fair to question Marte’s judgement, but I’d hold back the pitchforks and torches a little while longer

Today would be a great day for Buxton to break his 2-month home run drought. Preferably with a runner or two on base. He hasn't hit one since his first at-bat of the Dodgers series.

Provus -Morneau ,  both say  he getting close ,     Funny  to hear them Kiss ars

Jenkins with another multi homer game, his third in the last two weeks.  I know the Twins want to ride with the players that have been there all season, but Jenkins is not making it easy for them.

Too bad they don’t have a roster spot for him 🤣

3-3 with 2 walks and those 2 homers. Impressive. I have to think right now he would be the best bat in the outfield after Keaschall on the team today. I know Buxton can get right, but he has been off for a while. I don't know how much I trust Larnach or Roden anymore either.

So...I skipped yestedays game..glad I was not there. I bought a sky high shaded section via seat geek last minute today for $15.00.....you know times are becoming idiotic...I was going to buy a canned beer.. Bud Light..not my type but the cheapest...turned it down when I learned that it was over the price of my ticket. In the picture you will see the navy trainees filing in from the training depot..

Tristan Gray

  • August 19, 2026: Hit a fly ball to right-center field (his 1st Triple-A home run of the season).
  • August 20, 2026: Notched a multi-homer game, blasting two home runs in a single night.
  • August 21, 2026: Launched a solo home run to right-center field in the seventh inning.
  • August 22, 2026: Extended his streak to four straight games with a solo home run to center field in the second inning.

its comical ,    like we couldnt use another  good glove to replace Lardash on defense , or at the plate

If Walker's glove is good, we could use him for sure.  That he can hit Big League pitching is at this point just wishful thinking.

Martins injury has created alot of issues for this team , and today Roden is the ?  zero outfield depth-- zero r.h. bat -zero- Defense ,   if only st paul had anyone ?  even gonzalez who is on the 40  would help more than JACKSON
