What's the real difference?  They haven't done squat since.

Quitting and sucking are two very different things.

It’s not that athletes never quit, I just think it’s an easy thing to say when athletes aren’t succeeding.

To me it just sounds incredibly silly.

Just like when fans complain about the front office not having a plan. No. They have a plan. They just didn’t tell you about it.

This loss stings big time!!! 5-0 lead we really need to win out rest of games win division especially with 15 games in row against division!!! Can’t/wont get into football until baseball is over with

Replace Morneau with some one, any one.

He was a great player and probably a nice guy. But yeah, he is about as interesting as watching paint dry. Need more Plouffe. I know I am in the minority, but I thought Roy Smalley was the best.

A return to the day of Baldelli, when the Twins often took a larger early lead and lost in the last few innings.

SIGH.

Morneau thinks because Lewis has had knee injuries before, he might be afraid to slide!!!

if that’s the case…..get off the damn field!

He actually said that? I have the Phillies broadcast

We have watched Lewis slide all year long. Ball came behind him. He just didnt think he had to slide

Not quite that succinctly (no surprise), but yeah, basically

Working today. Last I checked in, we were ahead 5-1. Box score suggests we left Kremer in too long. We also may be finding out why we don't throw out our better pitchers in a blowout game.

He was going along really well. 2 base runners through 5. Low pitch count
Then he walked the leadoff guy in the 6th and things snowballed.

Did they play Duran’s intro deal? The Twins made it and included it with the trade. The must have a file of it still.

Hindsight is always helpful. If we could bottle the preview flavor we'd make a million.
