That would be fine if he was giving up contact and getting a lot of foul balls during these last few AB's.  He wasn't throwing strikes.  Should have been taken out after walking Arraez to force a run home.

I've mentioned many times,  Shelton has NO clue on managing a pitching staff.

This team doesn't belong on the same field as teams like these Phillies or those Dodgers. $200+M payrolls must be nice.

Phillies fans were livid before this series. They’ve been bad since the ASB. Until this series of course.

Yeah, we definitely went one bridge too far that inning.

Preilipp was bad ,  but Jeffers might be the worse ive seen in helping young pitchers ,  Victor would of been out there  ,trying to help at least

Agreed! Did Jeffers go out to the mound once tonight?!

I mean I’ve been totally fine with Shelton all season but he should have been pulled before the HR. At the very least. Walking 3 guys gives you some time to get someone loose.

Jeffers is more of a hitter. He does ok behind the plate, but the nuances are not part of his game.

He still could at least go out and let Prielipp have a few seconds to try and catch his breath. I don't think they're always giving tips, I think a lot of the times their just giving a quick break.
