Ober's got this!

I haven't been paying attention... How long until Buxton's triumphant return?

Reminds me...how many times have we heard the word "return" from him....then heard IL....

They aren't the same thing! The last return was hardly a triumph 😭

Surprised it's not a day game for getaway day.

Confused (am i)

What aren't the same thing?

And i'm not seening an answer to my question. Though i perhaps should mention i'll give partial credit for Buxton's next non-triumphant return. I do admit to being less interested in that.

Saw a post by Mike Petriello asking about Obers home and road splits. Don’t look if you’re squeamish.

Royals were Ober's Kryptonite a few years ago. Of course Kaufman chewed up and spit out Royce on Opening Day a few years ago too.

This ain't a few years ago.. it seems worse!

Sorry triumphant and return aren't synonymous. Maybe this time?

Clarification is appreciated.

Sorry for asking a compound question.

I suppose i'd also be content with his triumphant absence, The last couple games haven't fit that general description.

I am too lazy to pay attention, so it follows i won't do the leg work to establish a statistical correlation between Buxton's playing and triumph. But i hope that is the case on a sufficiently large sample size.

But for today (and consistent with my username) i hope we win.

Probably goes without saying but Twins just can't be swept by KC to be taken seriously. The offense is feeble right now. They are very lucky the final Wildcard is totally up for grabs still by 8 teams...all playing sub .500. And both Cleveland and Chicago are losing too so they haven't left Twins in the dust. The last 2 Seattle games hurt bad but these last 2 vs KC have been pathetic.
