Morris and Gomez the top 2 bullpen options get L’s in back to back days. Building bullpens are tough. Should have kept Varland who has been quoted by a poster here to be worth an extra 5 wins last year after the trade deadline.

Bad day but you're right, Varland took the loss today too

Tough to lose the tiebreaker too

likely wouldn't have mattered since Seattle has a far better intradivisional record at present. No biggie here, though def something worth keeping an eye on with these late-season series

Hate to say it but comeback meant nothing-how on earth do they recover from this!!!! We needed to win this! Now it’s 4 game hole with absolute must must must wins against royals/brewers. It’s imperative to come back from road trip over.500 have feeling this is nail in coffin to season 🤬😤👎😡💩🤮

So easy for a 2-1 series win to be a 1-2 series loss. That is why just thinking series wins is not gonna do it. Currently Astros and Boston streaking and taking over wild card births.

Nah, same here. I was just kinda messing around. But irritating to lose regardless after the comeback.

These last two games are on the offense and defense. Larnach, who I do like quite a bit, is not an outfielder.

He's young, nearly a rookie, and playing a new position.... Or something like that.

It was stupid to not let Kreidler bat so the defense became a joke.

Since the playoffs were expanded 86 wins is the magic number in the AL. For some reason fans were hoping 82 wins clinches your playoff berth this year.

Nor is Lewis an infielder, but this one is on Shelty imitating  Baldelli.

Don’t care!!! Twins losing ruins whole day especially when they comeback and this 💩happens-it’s infuriating. We have best team in division and now FO will be selling instead of buying-this series ruined my whole weekend-now twins have to win out rest of season

Was talking to a Cardinals fan yesterday.  The folks there are upset about a couple bad years in a row.

Even if a billion coincidences happen - perhaps involving nerve tonic, gigantism, and a great player on a competitor stumbling into a mysterious vortex - and the Twins somehow win all their remaining games.....even if all that happens AND they open the playoffs with 7 straight victories, I wouldn't give them better than 1 in 10 odds to beat the Dodgers in the World Series.
