They need another late inning RH option in the bullpen.  You can't keep using Gomez and Morris as they have, they need help.  And I don't think Nance is than answer as he is better in the middle innings.

Robles getting to second bugs me more than Royce’s brain freeze yesterday. I didn’t hear Cory’s explanation and thought the bases chyron was wrong on my screen. Ugh.

How about the poor at bat from our designated hitter in the ninth with a runner in scoring position.  There were plays missed or not made throughout the game, but all we hear about is the play Royce didn't make.

I get it…. but why not intentionally walk Emerson and set up the double play with a force at home?

In the postgame presser, Shelton said he did not want to face Young in any situation.  Young has been torturing the Twins all weekend.  He took a risk to get Emerson and Rivas out, didn't pan out.

I'll refer you to the handy chart I posted earlier from baseball-reference.  Today is the first time since coming off the IL that Culpepper is playing SS for the 3rd game in a row.  We all complain about Buxton's lack of availability.  I want Culpepper's to be at least that good before he is called up here.  I could see him being called up in another week after they make sure he isn't showing any lingering signs from his glute injury that put him on the IL.  I know everyone wants him up here.  The best ability is still availability.

That is why I made the comment, get him in the field and ready so he can be here as quickly as they can.  I would prefer not to wait a week but the goal would hopefully be by next weekend he could be here if he comes thru today's game ok.

Sorry.  I wasn't paying attention and misread it.  Too many people here stamping their feet demanding they want him up here yesterday.  Just trying to point out why that is not happening.

You spew hate and disgust with the players and the games, you use the thumb down for no discernible reason, and are consistently negative towards many people. Sorry to be so rude but it is difficult to understand why someone who has so many bad feelings is on a site that is promoting the Minnesota Twins.

It does make me question why I am on the site though. Once upon a time, using a totally different byline I was among the very first people to join Twins Daily after following Twins Geek, AaronGleeman.com, and several other sites as well as making a little dough contributing to several baseball blogs. I did quit and take a hiatus for a number of years and do wonder if the time has arrived to disappear again. I'm not a fan of the "I hate everything" type of comments. So you are not off to ask, "Why are you here?" Maybe I need a long vacation from this type of stuff. Peace to you.

Yeah.  Win out rest of season would make them 105-57.  That should be good for a playoff spot.
