So we are going with a 6 man bullpen the rest of the weekend.  Morris won't be available before Sunday and if Paredes pitches 3 to 4 innings he will be out until Monday.  So who is the next 30 something they will pick up.

It's a tradeoff.  Many catchers believe they can get more low strikes called if they lower their center of gravity.  They probably get more strikes called than bunts attempted on them in a season.

Nice to see Buxton with a base hit to lead off the bottom of the first.  That always gives his team a chance to score!

Nice play by Clemens, still the defense is terrible…. know a bunt is coming and still can’t get an out, the WP went of his glove, unless he called for off speed you have to handle that pitch. Zero errors, but not making plays is just as important.

It is so sickening to watch this. 2 innings 5 hits a walk and 2 WILD PITCHES!  Just gross. Yesterday continued. Even got gifts of strike calls. Why aren’t these guys ready to play/pitch when the game starts?

It's true that 1B is a place where offensive production is paramount, and HR is one of the best ways to accomplish that.

Still, if the choice is how to deploy 4 hitters among the infield position, I'd put the shakiest glove at 1B.  Most of the plays that come to 1B are intended to be catchable; that's not the intent of the batter, for the other 3 infield positions.

Not expected for tonight's game.  Expected to report to Toronto for their home series starting tomorrow with Baltimore.  I can see him being an important piece stabilizing their starting rotation until more of their starters come back from injury.
