Might be game over.

Looks like it should only be a couple of hours - I can’t imagine they’ll call it…

Isn't there some rule about the team that takes a lead before a delay requires the home team to get an inning.. might be old wives tale

The Kreidler / Keaschall snafu was certainly not due to crowd noise 😀. Seriously our infield defense is horrible.

I think that’s one of those downsides of having a young player - while they should have been calling, Keaschall also should have known that was the short stops…

I was thinking the very same thing.

According to baseballref.com: "Suspended Games: If a game is called in the middle of an inning after becoming an official game, and the visiting team has taken the lead (or the game is tied), it is a suspended game. It will be resumed at a later date from the exact point of stoppage."

Home team ahead, 4.5 innings is complete game. 5 innings if visitor leads. Both if game cannot be resumed, of course.

Less than that, start over from scratch another day.

After that, if visitor takes the lead in the top half, the game must be resumed from that point. If home team leads, game can be called complete or resumed at any point.

In this case, if not tonight, resumed probably tomorrow. But it will be suspended if not resumed.

Edit: Ninja'd.

And I bailed...on the blue line

He did his job. Got an IF popup

How about the game tying double by the first batter he faced?

I hope you are not referring to Kreidler as young and you meant Keaschall.  Kreidler is not young any more.  This is the type of play that happens when you don't have a set lineup.  They need to stop playing musical chairs and go with an infield configuration for the rest of the year and see how it plays out.

Are you watching the game? It was clear that Kreidler never had a good track on that ball and Keaschall was camped under it the whole time. The only thing Keaschall did wrong is not call it loudly enough

No, I meant Keasch is young. And absolutely agree about the - very well put! - musical chairs on the field.

Kody Clemens continues to look like a keeper.

A game like today certainly works toward cementing the first base argument for the present.

Pretty sure even Moliter said that Kriedler was on it - it bounced off Keaschall’s

Do we know how loud Keaschall called for it, if you are at the game he could probably be heard.  I am not going to assume anything.
