With Garcia being dropped to make way for Bradley, there's now an 8-way tie for the team lead for saves on the active roster at 1.

Also: does this mean there's now an open spot on the 40?  Anyone ready to come off the 60-day IL, or are they going slumming for another vet reliever from the bargain DFA bin?

39 is correct. Does Zoll have something up his sleeve?

60-day is Lopez, Acton, and Festa. Acton and Festa aren’t currently throwing so they’re a ways off.

Glad to see Arcia is finally getting a chance in the lineup! I want to see what he can do over a full game, not just after coming in to pinch! And glad that Buck is back in the field!

The Garcia DFA was some nice news to hear this afternoon. The article I read said he'd only had nine appearances over 8 2/3rd innings for us... It sure felt like a lot more!

Cripes, why not Gonzalez play?  He is only here for a few days, let's see what the youngster can do!  He looked poised last night against a pretty tough lefty with a power arm.

The lefty "starter" today could be out of the game by the time the lower half of the batting order comes up.  Look for Gonzalez to perhaps pinch hit if another lefty is brought in to pitch later in the game.

100% agree and why would Kreidler be any kind of upgrade over luke at 2b ,  alternate Arcia and Kreidler at S.S. with Brooks at 3b for awhile,  not a fan of this Lineup at all today, Shelty puts Luke at 8th and the kid looks better , why keep the every other game going , look what it did to Lewis !!!  Long trip -i get it-  but get this game and the series win and play around with it on sunday - not today with Taj back also !!  oops flip Arcia and kreidler    SAME THING !!

One thing we Don't have is Mickey Gasper batting second at DH.😏

Love the AB by Martin.  Not HR hunting.  His shift back to his Vanderbilt days are working.  It really does look like the coaching staff is trying to work with some of these players tools rather than trying to make everyone a HR hitter.  Under an old Martin swing, that swing is a line drive out.
