I wonder if the broadcast crew staying through the half inning is because they couldn't sell the ad time. That's been happening regularly recently. I don't remember that much in any previous season.

If Buxton could only ever stop swinging at sliders/sweepers so far outside, he might really be a superstar. It is so ingrained in his play. He just can’t stop. He must.know by now that is what he is gonna get.

I've noticed that too

For a bit I thought Progressive bought some exclusivity, but they clearly have some ads (Go Blaze!) so, yeah, probably can't sell em.  That's not good

I think they are probably having trouble selling ads.  This is the first year and there is no track record.  The Big Ten Network went thru this their first couple of years where every other ad was about the Big Ten Network.

I think there are fewer than 10 people in the upper deck in left field. Seriously. Hard to get a full view but piecing together multiple looks I'm reasonably confident.

He is no where near as bad as he was early in his career and only seems to chase against the pitchers that have the most movement on those pitches now. The biggest concern I have with him right now is that he swings at the first pitch a lot, and as a lead-off hitter that's not a good trait.

My guess would not much better since they are trying to get ESPN take over the streaming.  I think MLB took over because of no other options.

ESPN is trying to secure streaming rights to MLB games, including the 5 teams with no current local RSN, the Twins are pursuing ESPN...
