Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 They can't defend a 3 run HR Trevor

Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 And of course the contact play strikes again. Now we have the slow footed Larnach to ground into a double play. Doc Lenz 1
RpR Verified Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 I do not have the game on TV , why did Outman not score on double?

jkcarew Verified Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 So THAT’s why they call him Outman.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Why wouldn’t Byron try to steal even once after the contact play failed? What a stupid team Hosken Bombo Disco, USAFChief, Doc Lenz and 1 other 4
hitterscount Verified Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Only the Twins… we finally get a hit with RISP, but can’t get the runner home and to add insult as we probably won’t score with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs. Another chance for Wallner to fail and he doesn’t disappoint, Rocco has to go. Doc Lenz 1
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Rocco== ????????? USAFChief, Vanimal46, Doc Lenz and 1 other 4
mnfireman Verified Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Back to back doubles leads to the lead-off double getting thrown out at home on the contact play....only in Twins Territory Doc Lenz 1
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 After that here comes the three run inning for Oakland. Never fails.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Runners on 2nd and 3rd, zero outs. 0 runs scored. That actually is expected this year from the offense hitterscount and Patzky 2
AceWrigley Verified Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 How the heck do we get 2 doubles with no outs and score no runs!!??11 Vanimal46 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Can’t be too cautious when you’re 8.5 games out of the expanded wild card on August 20 Vanimal46 and hitterscount 1 1

Fly ball fell just in front of the RF, and Outman had to hold up to see if it was caught. Fitgerald hustled to 2nd on the relay. It wasn't really a double. Parfigliano Verified Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Only the TC could have back to back DBs and not score. Hilariously sad.

Fitzgerald caught the outfielder bein' lackadaisical on his throw to the infield, and hustled to second. Outman going to 3rd wasn't quite so aggressive (and probably didn't read it as a hit from the get go) Patzky 1

SteveLV Verified Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 I think Ober is a decent 4-5 starter, but all those people who were suggesting last week he should be given a big extension are not watching the same player I am. His fastball has lost 3-4 mph, he is now a nibbler, and he has had multiple stints on the IL. Plus, he sure is prone to the gopher ball.... mrtwinsfan, Aggies7 and Parfigliano 3

hitterscount Verified Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 I just can’t do it anymore tonight, it’s an absolutely disgusting display of ineptness at the plate and the managers approach is just as awful. Blyleven2011 1
