I remember when they did this a couple months back.

Interestingly, they also asked who they didn't want to play for, and Rocco registered zero votes in that poll as well.  More than 20 managers received a vote in that poll (although a few were technically former managers at the time).

I guess Rocco gets a big ol' shrug from players.  Seems about right

I travel quite a bit for work and have been in Boston quite a bit recently.  Fans in Boston absolutely hate Cora as their manager.  I have been told he is the "worst manager in baseball" more times than I can count recently. 

The reason I bring this up is fans tend to go to the extreme and only see what their manager does.  A very narrow viewpoint.  This same holds true for every city I travel to.  Most MLB fans aren't terribly happy with their manager or front office for that matter.  They don't do enough to help their team win.

This study means nothing without context.  How many of those 121 players have never played for their current manager?  How many of those 121 players are 10+ years in the league and have played for multiple franchises?

There are 750 players on CURRENT 25 man rosters.  121 is 16% of players.  

We all know the results are very posted to tell us that no one wants to play for Rocco.  I understand the agenda.  6 of the top 10 answers are 6/10 top ten payrolls.  You know how much better coaching is when you have a loaded roster and win.....
