It was such an egregiously bad signing for a long time I assumed there was something else going on, like sabotage with bogus scouting report. Yeah, I've been a fan since 1963, seen a lot of baseball and a lot of Twins baseball, and IMO there has never been a Twin less prepared for major league baseball.

And he had a decent career in Japan.
