I wonder if Rocco will permit Festa to go much longer. He pulled SWR early the other day. We then do this rotating the RP's every inning. I still think that they should have kept Adams.

I’ve been a vocal proponent of Rocco not pulling guys so early, but these young guys (especially) continue to melt down as they pitch later. What else can he do. To me, this is a problem with how they’ve babied them in the minors.

As much as I hate to , I have to tip my hat to Benson  for hitting opposite field  , France is the only consistent hitter on the twins that hits opposite field ...

It's not just the young guys. Ober and Ryan tens to have meltdowns too. And none of them have a plan when they get two outs or when they get to an 0-2 count. It's a poorly coached staff.

With Jeffers not hitting all that well I’d much rather have Vasquez behind the plate most games. I feel like he manages the game better especially for some of the young pitchers.

I don't think he had any real choice in pulling Festa.

I've said it since Sunday for those who want to get rid of Vazquez.  I think that, as bad as Vazquez is hitting, he is hitting better than Jeffers is at the moment and can command the pitching staff.  I'm not sure Festa has this meltdown with Vazquez as catcher.
