They are throwing an opener and a LH is expected to be the next pitcher.  So rather than just put in your best lineup, Rocco is going to show them he is smarter.

Absolutely gutless AB's. This guy would have walked in 5 runs by now if the Twins came to the plate without a bat. Only 12 outs left to do something, essentially 10 with the 2 free outs Lewis is going

Thinking Rocco gonna give him at least 2 of the next 3 ,  its up to Royce  Produce or cya in ST Paul , me i think A.A. would  be better for a week or 2 , gotta get him out of his comfort zone - go ride a bus or 2 and  see how good ya got it ,    we will see-   Go Twins

He was pulled for defense last night.  With a LH projected to come in for the bulk innings, Rocco is sitting his lefties.

It's a good lineup even without Clemens and Wallner in it

Only about 2.9 more runs a game by the A's. Hardly noticeable.
