They have had every opportunity to do that. They DH him the next day. They can do that here. It is better than just what they are doing with Bader. Wallner could pinch hit in a the second day. It is NOT defensible.

The twins tall task was sent back to st Paul without much of an opportunity  , why bring a guy up to sit on the bench  , there was left handed pitching he could have played more  , it's been a AAA team because of injuries so he fit right in  ...

....... because, maybe, he struck out 4 of 6 ABs, his only hit was a lucky bloop, and played pretty bad defense (no error scored, but missplayed off the right field wall at least once I can remember). But he definitely didn't really get much of a shot.

Yes it's a different game to get acclimated to in the Bigs , but as I stated he should have been given more of an opportunity than sitting on the bench  ...

Hope he goes back to AAA and tears the cover off the ball , at least he cam say he made it to the major leagues  ...

My guess with McCusker was brought up to be an "In case of emergency, break glass" type of player.  Sort of like Keirsey Jr was before we actually had to see him take AB's and not just be a defensive replacement.  I would also say that the Twins may have been hoping for a lop-sided result somewhere along the way where he could have had more AB's. When the offense is clicking as much as a Tesla battery about ready to die and the pitching has been holding, that doesn't lead to many opportunities.

If minor league starters are going 3,4 or 5 innings at the most how are they ever going to be stretched out? Guys in college throw 90-110 pitches often. Come to Twins organization and step back. Am I seeing things or just wrong?

Zebby may eventually become a competent MLB starter, but he definitely isn't there yet.
