Jorge Lopez immediately turning into a pumpkin alongside Yennier Cano being cured of "Twinsitis" gives that trade a run for its money. Oh, and the Orioles have Cade Povich in their starting rotation now as part of that trade. Yikes.

These examples are why I roll my eyes when Falvey is discussed in such high regard on this website. So much talk about him developing this pitching pipeline (after 9 years!) but you look around the league and literally every team is calling up players that can throw 95+ MPH.

October 2023, it looked like the Twins were poised to have a multi-year run on top of the division and have post season success. The Pohlads let cheapness get in the way and the baseball gods have kicked this team's ass ever since. And no end in sight.

Looks more like the fans will be getting the multi-year runs.

And they can't develop even one halfway decent hitter to save their lives.

I’m finding out that they aren’t very listenable either. If it makes you feel any better.

I got to not like listening when Provus came on board. Just not a fan of his yelling about a HR when we're already behind by 7 runs. Nothing personal. I grew up listening to Herb. Nothing could measure up to him.

It seems like they have forgotten the last step in the process and that is to parlay this pipeline into trades that bring back players or prospects that will continue to have a competitive window in the future.

We need to have a retrospective on how badly we whiffed on that trade. There was a lot of defending of the trade right after Pressly immediately morphed into a high end closer and all we ended up with was an inconsistent reliever and an AAAA outfielder.

Unwilling to pay his price. But willing to bet that two cheap minor leaguers would work out.

Mets have become one of those teams with an excellent pitching lab, largely thanks to the guy they hired away from Falvey, Jeremy Heffner.

Cory provus said on the night that the twins star have been quiet tonight , i didn't know we had any stars just over priced players ...

Will it ever get better ???

Only fallen stars on this team. I've been holding off judgement on this team and trying not to be a Debbie downer, but it is as I thought in February. This team is not a team. Poorly put together and no life to it.

Both catchers get tagged not minding the throwing hand in one week.

It’s been extremely fortunate that both of our catchers have been healthy for the last 2 seasons. Can’t imagine that luck will continue in the future.

Maybe if Correa and Buxton would show up and contribute, things could turn a bit.

Key word being "maybe".  No guarantees with that.

I got spoiled listening to Dan Orsillo and Jerry Remy doing Red Sox broadcasts. You never wanted to miss a game they were so entertaining. Remy was a gem.

I've seen more life from poking a stick at a dead hedgehog.

Both funny and sad at the same time.

Can Gaspar develop into the second coming of Willians Astudillo?  A player that doesn't belong on the roster that becomes a fan favorite on a bad team.

I can see it… 5-12 record after today. Curtains getting ready to be pulled on the season. We’re going to see a lot of AAAA filler this year

When the Twins finish losing this game they will be tied with the CWS for last place. Tied for last with a barely semi pro team.

And the Rockies are worse than both. Think how bad they must be
