My friend/old boss is the assistant grounds guy there. Most of the time that’s the umpire waiting too long to cover the field

I know there is a group of posters on here that do not like the game threads….. some call it the “armpit” of the site. (smh)

Game day threads are the actual living breathing heartbeat of this site…. giving real time reaction to the results that are playing out in real life before us.

The rest of the threads and blogs etc, are just opinions, hopes, wishes and for the most part, filler that will not change anything about the Twins organization.

 The passion, fire, comedy, jubilation and dissatisfaction that comes out on the game threads… is what makes this site worth following.

Being a Twins fan has meant more disappointment than happiness for all but a few years of the franchise history…. we all share in that pain.

My suggestion to those that don’t like the tenor of the game threads…. maybe don’t follow? It certainly isn’t mandatory…..
