I don't watch football so dunno. I spent yesterday reading, watching some Ted Lasso, and being a regular human. It was nice.

I haven't seen a football game since the Vikings lost to New Orleans when Favre was playing for MN. My son was into football a little so I quietly watched with him. Football always bored me. People like different stuff. I get that most people on TD and in MN are football fans.

There was a recent article about Royce Lewis being out gas.  Should’ve been about the whole team.

Our best player is Carlos Santana, who is ancient.  Maybe he should take the organizational reigns and teach these young guys some practical baseball knowledge.  The AI Falvine leans on isn’t there yet.

Playing baseball every day... is there any wonder that they are out of gas?? What a tough life! I'm glad I only have to work 5 twelve hour days in the 90 degree heat! It would suck to change places with an MLB ball player! What a complete joke.

Great job Wallner backing that up.

I feel like Kepler might have been checking his smartphone out there.

FS1 guys said that a part of the rule is also that you have to come back to the base in a "timely fashion." That was a new one for me.

Looking forward to those yearend games with the Orioles when we have a Helman-Mayo sighting.

Both Twins and Orioles are falling apart. Twins trying hard to miss playoffs and the O"s aren't that far behind. Two teams choking at the worst possible time. Hard to watch

Games come on here at 7 or 8 AM.  If I get to school and don't have a class right away, I usually flip the mlbtv on, or at least follow on the Gameday.  But lately, nope.

And gee, checked in a moment ago to find yet another suck-fest!  Here's the deal, Pohlads:  You put a crappy product out on the field, and people lose interest, forgoing your advertisers in all platforms, don't go to as many games and fork over for your $19 Summits, don't watch or listen to broadcasts and miss all the commercials that drive the revenue.  We had chances to pick up some quality players without breaking the bank, but you guys chose to wave the white flag before the season even began.

You guys suck.

That is correct.  Terminology is "at once".

Kep's big payday next year is taken on water fast.

His financial advisor is actually creating a Max Kepler resume instead of thumbing through the Rolodex for MLB teams who need right fielders.

Granted, the season is a long slog, and nagging injuries do mount.  The intense mental focus needed for a sport at this level is a difficult thing to maintain over time, and fatigue becomes a factor.

However, this is the dude I want leading the players-only meeting they need to have. 😅👍
