Jeffers is best to just hope for a walk these days, especially with the guy pitching and he has a strike to give at 3-1. He has got to be smarter than that. A one month wonder this year. Kinda sad. What a wasted opportunity.

Jeffers felt he had a good pitch to hit, but sometimes a hitter needs to put pressure on the pitcher. Either way, Jeffers did make a decision I guess.

Who calls these pitch sequences?  Got a guy that throws 102 and we're trying to get curveballs across.  And now we're down 1-0.
