Can't get that 'more' from Larnach when he's being pinch hit for *checks notes*  Diego A Castillo.

 

I think MLB and the HOF are doing a disservice to Twins fans with how today's game is scheduled.  Both entities could have taken advantage of having a 2pm CT start, open the gates early, and have the Mauer HOF speech early enough in the program that it could be streamed on the videoboard.  Instead, MLB schedules the game for noon, the HOF ceremonies begin at 12:30, and Mauer is due to be the last speaker.

12:50CT start time announced on the Tweeter.

The Roku game is free on their app and their website.  Just have to start an account.  I'm waiting for game to start to see if MLB.TV subscription allows it too.

Last night Okert almost got in the way and stopped Santana from making a key unassisted play at first.  Later he ran over and spooked Lee at third and a pop bunt drops as the biggest reason for the loss.  That said maybe Lee should have been more aggressive calling for it.  It was his play.  Lee seems to have a little mental block since he stopped hitting so well.  And for the love of all that’s holy, get Lee a helmet that doesn’t slide down when he swings hard.

You gotta wonder about that (re:helmet) If I was constantly worried about my spikes coming off when I ran I'd get new spikes.. a distraction and safety hazard.
