That’s generally a ball for the RF though. Medium deep. The throw was incredible but I feel like Royce was going no matter what

Zero problem with the tag because then he's on 3rd where a productive out gets him home.  Took a perfect throw and Siri delivered.  Tip the hat to the defense on that one.  It's not always a fault but some here think the other team isn't allowed to make plays.

Yeah, I think it was an ok risk. So many benefits to being at third with one out rather than 2nd.

Unfortunately, the CFer made a hell of a play.

I take every game seriously!!! Losses especially the one run extra inning losses are the worse/ruins day when they lose and when they win its best day ever!!!

The risk is that the game is over if you don’t make it. Odds are Tampa plays the IF in with one out and a guy at third. He has enough speed to score from second on a hit to the OF

Am I an ass if I notice that Royce has been in the middle of key plays in the last two games and things haven't worked out.. on the throw to first last night. Being thrown out today. And in two potential game winning situations today at the plate.

Sure he's awesome. I won't argue that. 

But if he doesn't make it happen, who else will?

I understand all that. I'm still ok with tagging up there. I'd say he makes it often enough to pay off the risk.

You could watch the Rickwood Field game.  I doubt the Twins will get much/if any coverage during that event.
