RpR Verified Member Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 Kirilloff is just as good in the outfield as he is at First Base. The Yankees came to get revenge for last year, and the Twins act like they are still in Spring Training.

I thought the rule of thumb is that it if it hits the glove, its an error. Absolutely an error on AK - at least in theory. Jerr and RpR 2

In the first game of the series they ruled a double on Soto's flare to centerfield that Castro pulled up on and then misplayed when he transferred the ball from his glove to hand. I thought that was the worst scoring decision I had seen in a while....until today. The ball hit AK's glove right in the middle. He didn't have to dive for it, not was he even fully sprinting at the time it hit his glove. This is the major leagues FFS...... CRF, USAFChief and RpR 3

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 I can't stand that when Santana "holds" a runner on, he's not actually holding the runner on. He's 3 or 4 feet off 1st. There's been I think 3 pickoffs that would have gotten the runner had he actually been on the bag. He has to reach 4 feet behind him as he plays it.
