jkcarew Verified Member Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Buxton got a hanging slider on the 3rd pitch and misses it. Story of his season so far.
Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Just have to put Byron in center field. Oh wait...

I don’t expect him to be a great hitter…but I do expect him to do damage on that pitch. He’s been a very good cripple masher in the past. But, it’s been a while now.

Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Divisions can be lost in April. This team is headed that way. RpR, IndyTwinsFan, Jocko87 and 1 other 3 1
RickOShea Verified Member Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Rocco lost in no man's land. He couldn't figure out how to give his RP time to warm up.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Varland pitches batting practice, and Baldelli leaves him in for probably 100 pitches. (with luck it will be 94, I hope) SWR is pitching fine....... and could go into the 7th, and he is pulled at 80. Makes sense to me. Dave The Dastardly 1
Azviking101 Verified Member Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Any time someone can throw 98 almost 90 pitches into the game, that’s impressive The raw stuff is there and so is the movement but he just doesn’t come anywhere close to spotting the ball where it’s supposed to be and more often than not it’s left over the heart of the plate Any good hitter is going to hit that stuff.
