I wasn't able to stay for Alcala but it doesn't look great from the box score.

Alcala is one who showed promise but when given the chance just can’t fulfill it

He is very frustrating.

I’m a realist … we will get to the end of the game when we get there. Whatever the outcome. Best not to borrow trouble.

He's still who I want in there with a 1 run lead and 3 outs to go.

I didn't realize he was coming in after Paddack or I would have stayed. Looked like a very eventful inning from the gameday.

I’m so over Correa this year. Move him down to 7th, take advantage of his solid defense and just forget about him until next year.

He was going to swing at that pitch regardless. Worst hitting starter on the team. Just keep swinging at balls all season long

I think duran is more effective when he just comes in and lets it fly.  any thought process on his part and we're doomed.

Thank god we gave carlos all that money...ive seen little leaguers play better than him this year goodness

I confess I had literally zero expectation of Correa getting a hit there. Or even hitting it hard.

I don’t think he should have swung on that. Even if it were a strike. The way the pitcher was going, the one after would’ve been a ball … <shrug> … woulda, coulda, shoulda

I was hopeful. I was at least mostly confident he wouldn’t hit into a double play.

In other news, the Royals blew a 9-0 lead to the White Sox.....and it's only the bottom of the 6th.

Plenty of time for the Sox to cough it back up
