USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Holy cow Correa. Two easy plays in two days. mrtwinsfan 1
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 No way thats a Hit, Correa barely had to move, was easy D.p. USAFChief 1

He has like 4 monitors and can control the video. He pretty much makes the call as all he says to Rocco is Yes or No. Apparently there is not enough time to communicate anything more so these decisions are not made by Rocco. Of course they’re made by Rocco. He makes the call depending on game situation etc. You only get one if you lose. The video guy is only relaying what he sees on the video. And as we know, the video can be iffy depending upon angles, and NY’s interpretation which can be different than what the video guy sees or thinks he sees. Jocko87 1

GusGus11 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Maybe we should try a new strategy that involves taking a pitch or two. Swinging at everything is clearly not working. Correa out there chopping down like hes intentionally trying to hit 7 hop grounders.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 3-4-5 hitters, Making life ezzy for Littel
GusGus11 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Also, I dont care how had the ball was hit, that Correa biffed ball was not a hit. He just flat out whiffed the catch. USAFChief 1
Azviking101 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Two straight games for Ryan of 90-91 mph fastballs. Not inspiring much confidence for me as a playoff starter.

Azviking101 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Kenta hasn’t looked good, they mismanaged Ober and Ryan’s fastball is at 90. The deep rotation is suddenly not deep at all.
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Lots of HRs off TC starters lately

Azviking101 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Went back and checked and his Fastball was 95 his first game back against Texas, so these last two games being so low is troubling.

His inning career high was 108 and only threw 72 last year. They mentioned from day 1 that they’d need to keep an eye on his innings. So instead he threw every 5 games at AAA/MLB and tired out. Pretty simple to limit his innings during the season and they didn’t try. wabene, SwainZag and Squirrel 3

RickOShea Verified Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 I thought Paul Crew was a legitimate superstar.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Ryan 4+ innings 1 run earned , that error killed his pitch count and why Roccos pulling him,

There's zero evidence last year's innings total limits this year's.
