Sorry, I'm still not buying it.

I think the Twins need some tough love.  Too much coddling from field management and booth personnel.

RF in OAK at this time is a tough sun on fly balls

It is. But he tracked that ball the whole way. Mr. Gold Glove got wall weary. Generous  triple given by the official scorer.

Well to be fair, he’d already be in AAA if that roster wasn’t filled with 26-year-olds who can’t beat out all the great corner players at the MLB level.

They wouldn't dare to bench 3B Andrew Bechtold, a 27 year old non-prospect who is starting practically everyday there!

I missed the top of the first... Were any of our hits assissted by lighting conditions?

Line drives.  Should have scored 3 but you know......

I'm comfortable with that assessment.

Who do ya think we can trade the sun for?

Usually the moon but sometimes the stars have to do. Sometimes you just get the darkness but we are used to that.

After the first four batters, it appears as though we're reverting back to the same old garbage at-bats against lefties that we saw so often before the break.  That's definitely not going to get it done.

I feel so bad about not understanding why Buxton thumps his chest, does his choo-choo arm thrusts and his truck blow horn, when he gets a hit.  It must be a mind blowing tremendous out of body experience for him, when he gets a hit.

Rooker is on base.

Should not be.

This game is shaping up to be where we aren't going to score a bunch of runs, Oakland is going to stay close, and our  bullpen loses the game for us on a long homer.  And it's just the 3rd inning.

Who reaches Mendoza Line first---Buxton or Kepler?

That we're even asking this question says way more about this team than I care to think about.  And it's not saying anything good.

We're not getting out of this inning with the lead.

Edit: honestly shouldn't have come out for the 3rd.
