I could handle Maeda being the interim manager too, while they look for a permanent replacement. There should be some "First Ever ... " press that comes with the move as well.

It just hasn’t gotten better (on the hitting side) for Vázquez. There is a better alternative available. It is time to flip the percentages Jeffers’ way when it comes to playing time.

Is there anything in the rule book that says the DH has to be used for the pitcher?  In all (half) seriousness Maeda has experience at the plate. Maybe not the best, but he has experience.

It's odd that in spring training when they held him out because of the shoulder he was absolutely mashing at DH. Goes to 3rd when the shoulder feels better, but then he can't hit. Now this. What is up with Jose anyway?
