For full disclosure. I'm a Gordon Lightfoot fan. Amazing songwriter with an amazing voice. 

He personally changed the pronunciation of Detroit for me. 

My appreciation of the late Gordon Lightfoot has spread that pronunciation to De-troy-it Lakes, Minnesota and Ba-Loy-It Wisconsin.

San Diego has diversity:
* Gwynn does Padres radio broadcasts

I lived in Milwaukee 20 years. No female, Latino, or African American in booths.  Sundays - TV only in Spanish on Telemundo carried.

Twins have diversity in TV booth on occasion, Hawkins. Marney was doing some before breast cancer diagnosis.

What are your oldest recollections of diversity in booths?
Mine would be Frank White on Yanks radio; Joe Morgan TV. Female in Yanks radio booth for about 10 years (I don't care for her). I really enjoy Jessica Ofelia Mendoza.

 

Do you mean Bill White? He was a great straight man for goofy Phil RIzzuto back in the day.
