I live in Houston and always give people crap down here about my disdain for the Astros….but I think I dislike the Yankees more…

The Astros used to be my second most favorite team. Now they are my second least favorite team.

8 strikeouts through 4 innings. No hits. Nothing out of the infield. This is horrendous baseball and to be honest it's the type of thing that I expected to see in this series. Which, I suppose, is what made Thursday and Friday so fun.

Twins crashing back to earth here and bringing all of us with them. You shouldn't see 8 strikeouts in 4 innings in a professional baseball game.

Or the bats stay asleep.

I've adopted the Marlins as my 2nd favorite team

Your last sentence has left me in a quandry.

Twins have now struck out 10 times in 5 innings. There have been 15 total outs and strikeouts make up 10 of those outs.

In high school every once in a while you get a guy who can throw 90 and he strikes out tons of players, as 15 and 16 year-olds just don't have the ability or experience to hit that kind of fastball.

Just doesn't seem like something that should happen to professionals.

There's no doubt that the umps found something on the first search, because they talked to him again and it appeared the ump said they told him to wash it off.

This is the type of hypocrisy that makes baseball suck at times.

And every once in a while ML pitchers have struck out 18, 19, 20 guys

German may be suddenly losing it. Hard hit out by Kep then 2 singles. Get to him quick before they can put a new pitcher in.

Well that de-escalated quickly

//channeling Hawk Harrelson// You can cancel the post game presser.

Not fair for you to channel Hawk, if we don’t have the ability to mute you.

I'm thinking we're gonna need Alex from U.S. Bank to help us win this game. A few homers wouldn't hurt either.

Careful, I might ban you, then follow up with...wait for it..."He gone!"

Users have an ignore function. For now I'll give Chief the benefit of doubt that he-who-must-not-be-named is possessing him against his will. But if this sort of thing keeps up I will have to take steps to protect myself.

Looks like the rigors of DHing every day has worn Buxton down.  Three strikeouts today?

He has lost power by not wearing his traffic pylon colored cleats.
