First time in years I'm watching games on TV instead of listening on radio....hip surgery silver lining. Random question: I've noticed after the 3rd out (sometimes, often, always??) The Twins catcher sometimes throws to 3rd or 1st (catcher) or somewhere (right fielder to CF) rather than tossed out to the mound like in olden days of yore. Is this a Twins thing?

Having Edouard Julien on the roster makes me think of the number of words we use that come from French. Like hors d’ouevres, just for starters.

Not to mention Frenchy Cordero in the Yankees lineup 🙂

Nope, almost all teams do that these days. I don't get it either.

No this has been a thing for years now. All teams do it.

The Twins' coaches should show these terrible AB's to the team after the game to show them what NOT to do....

Shoot, they're on their tablets during the game .Have them ditch their games and review their ABs.

I remember being at a game in 1986 and after the 3rd out, the catcher threw the ball to the pitcher and the pitcher walked off the field with it and tossed it up to me. That pitcher was Blyleven 🙂

C'mon guys.  This game is there for the taking.  Your young pitcher is holding off the Bombers.  Get some grit and get this guy!

Fun fact: Shane Bieber had a game against the Yankees on Monday where he surrendered two runs in the first inning, and they were shut out the rest of the game.

Post is aging… aging… not poorly..,, cmon offense…

That makes Chief's lawn 300 feet long and 1 foot wide. Makes it pretty easy to mow.

Doesn't take me any time on my brand new rider!

Chief, I figured you to be a Snapper kind of guy.

He should turn it into a garden and grow spaghetti.

Varland has earned a 3-run inning from his teammates. Let's do it.

Not gonna happen when guys keep swinging at the first pitch and popping up

Don't be ridiculous. Everybody knows spaghetti grows on trees.

Please  rookie, gut it out this inning.  The alternative is Emilio.  No one, probably not even Emilio's mama, wants that.
