The AL Central is not the AL East. No matter what your level of pessimism or depression with the Twins is currently, there are still six games left against both Chicago and Cleveland. There is, against all odds, still time left to find a winning streak. There may not be any reason to believe that can happen based on the evidence of the year thus far, but it can happen.

Not unless a bunch of injured players come back and contribute right now, cause as constructed currently, this is a bottom 5-6 MLB team.

Garlick makes Delmon Young look like a gold glover out there in left.

That's funny but Delmon was in a league of his own. I watched him (in Milwaukee) make three incredible plays in one inning: he turned around to watch what he thought was a home run but the ball landed about ten feet in front of him; he came running in on a routine fly ball that then landed exactly where he had been initially standing; and then Delmon stood statue still as a fly ball landed five feet in front of him. Delmon was a danger to himself.

And I vividly remember every one of them except 87. They were all horrendously painful. 09 probably the worst because that team would have won the super bowl. Not sure about 98

98, Gary Anderson didn’t miss a field goal all year, except in the championship game

why did gordon not go home there?

Straight up lack of awareness -- he totally thought Ramirez broke with the contact

I always forget that one in the late 70s

That’s the one I missed too, silly me, I thought I could count them on one hand

I say 09 because they had like 6 turnovers, on the road, and still should have had a chance to win it. I’ve rewatched that 98 game and the falcons played well enough to win. The Vikings offense was not itself in that game IMO

That was the bounty gate game and Favre almost won that game single handedly….

Greene got two conservative with the best Vikings team ever

Arraez gets two hits with empty bases and an out with a runner on base, the futility continues.

Gordon's fielding is not as good as his bat, sadly.

Pretty much, the twins seemed to be pretty immune except for the last 20 years

The last series they won was the Moneyball series

What do you think?

Never seen a Team with all the Mental errors , fielding- base running- GAME Awareness- players and coaches, then look at Terry Francona and how his teams always play, to the Talent on the roster, and each inning adjustments when needed, knowing when to let a pitcher go, Not this robo crap pre-planned game strategy and always erroring on the side of caution, 2019 Spoiled Rocco with all the Power, he refuses to adjust,

Arraez went 2 for 4, with 2 doubles, he’s not the problem

As bad as our starting pitching is, they should not let Varland pitch tomm, in Toledo and let him start  the Royals series, and if he does fine ? then he could also help in the 5 gamer in cleveland , maybe starting the sunday game, instead right now they have no idea on who ?? Someone got Roccos #

He could win a batting title, he’s been solid all season

He has a snowballs chance in hell of winning that now; like the Twins he is fading away.

You don’t like Arraez, I know

I expect him to live up to the hype , he did deserve for a bit, but now he is no better than the rest of the team.

He has fewer RBI that Sanchez and five others, why, because he is no better than the restof the team.

I agree with the Rocco take, also some of the current roster just doesn't have the talent/ability to adjust. So it's a just a combination of lack of talent (mental or physical), Injuries, bad luck and mismanagement. Somehow we have a chance to make the playoffs LOL
