Tlaker Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Gawd I hate the new rule at the plate. I don’t think any umpires know how to interpret it correctly, but not only that, it just mucks up the game. For over 120 years, the game has been just fine, I know Fosse and Posey, but speaking as an old catcher this was a solution that came about when there wasn’t a problem. Cave should not have been sent btw

Especially when you should be able to make contact with this RP. If it's Hader in his prime, then it's always a possibility of stranding the runner or causing the weak groundball.

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Mr, stat man Rocco leftys kill Fullmer , dont get it ?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Fulmer fools nobody. Mahle gets crushed. Lopez is full contact. No doubt we needed pitching. Identification is very suspect from all angles.

UpstateNewYorker Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Fullmer getting tattooed.
CRF Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Fulmer's got nothing. They're hitting rockets off him.
Beast Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Folding in the late innings again.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Poor read by Kepler. Plenty of time. Very bad route to the ball. Costly.
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Lead likely gone here momentarily. Sigh!

rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 I said 2-2 after 6, I was probably one inning off.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Kepler choked. He makes that play 98 out of 100 times.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 The Sox love to hit against Fulmer. And do. Was a really formulaic choice to pitch, here. Why not Jax for a second inning? 8 itches too many? Not in the plan pre-game?
Beast Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Watch them overturn this for blocking the plate.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Perkins "Oh, he didn't have it today". That's the difference between amateurs and professionals.
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 I wonder if Chicago will challenge the lane violation there?
