Hwich Sox are playing the Giants?

(and this is Jr. we are talking about i assume?)

Not really scoreboard watching.

Could probably answer my own questions if i was...

Applying the Jr designation all the time is one of my pet peeves, especially when there being a Sr in the family has no particular bearing, but yeah, our ex-Twin.  I sort of assumed it well known that Cease is on the hated White Sox.  Thus, double reason to care.

Question...can this team score at least 4 runs the rest of the game, and can the bullpen keep them off the board??   LOL

Answer... That is two questions.

Same here. Many players have (name) Jr. on their jerseys. This is inaccurate and incorrect. Jr. is part of the given name, not part of the surname.

Based on the performance of the Twins' hitters, we've faced McNally and Palmer the first two games. Cuellar tomorrow?

To expand on this, here's a baseball example. Sandy Alomar, Sr. has two sons who played in the major leagues. One was his namesake and the other was not. But as siblings they have the same last name, Alomar. Sandy the son's last name is not Alomar Jr.

Likely a throw away Rocco special with the B team lineup.

And Sandy Jr.'s jersey has no JR on it.?

I don't really care about that, as long as they don't go full slowpitch softball with the names.

But when talking about on-field baseball action, LaMonte Wade refers to Jr unless Sr perfects a knuckleball or III gets called up.   I think we have a fairly wide window of not needing to clarify which one we're talking about.

The difference between Jeffers and Sanchez was just shown.

Did this team even get out of bed today?  We on our way to getting shut out for the 11th time.  They must have thought last night was their world series.  This just seems to be a strangely constructed roster.  What are their real strengths?  Where are we getting consistent performance...the kind that good teams get.  Unless this really isn't a good team.

Sorry to pet your peeve...

And sorry to generally be out of the loop.

Baltimore shut-out both the Yankees and the Red Sox, they are probably just as good as the Twins and maybe better.

Agreed, what would the Twins record be if they played in the AL East?  Probably worse than Baltimore.

This game's not out of reach, except that the Twins' arms seem to be about 6 inches long.

those are the lengths of our relief staff's arms

I wonder why so many teams starters can go 7 innings , or more , against the Twins, maybe itis because so many Twins, not just rookies, are sailing towards the Mendoza line, again.

Personal opinion, time to move on from most of the vets on this team:Polanco, Correa(he's gone after this season anyway), Kepler, Urshela, Sanchez, Pagan, Duffy

It looks like the bat Gordon used is the old school brand that was nearly exclusive for decades.

Yup, 100 loss seasons are so thrilling.
