Devin Smeltzer is now my #3 Twins starter, behind Ryan and Gray. The man pitches so well within himself, great poise on the mound, excellent command of three pitches. You don't need a big heater if you command three pitches.

So, looking back through the TK and Gardy years, every player, coach, etc... was given a nickname. TK always makes a point to call Bremer Richard, not Dick or RB or DB or Brem. Does he not consider him part of the "team" after all these years. And why not?

Yeah, either him or Ober. Smeltzer seems a better candidate to go more than six than Ober.

I commented on a post on his Instagram last week and he liked it, I guess you could say he and I are best friends now

Larnach has had many more good PAs this year, even when he eventually K'd. This past PA was a good example of that.

I never got the sense that he thinks he’s a ball player. Sometimes he comes off as too much of a fan (which he is).
