Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Arraez has now hit 52 singles this year, putting him 1 behind Ty France for the MLB lead in singles...
CRF Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 If there is such a thing as a "natural" lead off hitter these days...then Arraez is it. He needs to stay there.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2022 Author Posted June 5, 2022 Insurance runs...in the plural form!!!

I picked up an Arraez game used hit ball from the May 14th game, it arrived late yesterday afternoon so it's been a good luck charm today.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2022 Author Posted June 5, 2022 This offensive output makes the Detroit series even more frustrating. But I'll definitely take it now.

They make mediocre starters look like Cy Young candidates and make Cy Young candidates look like mediocre starters. Let's see if that trend continues against the NYY ?

CRF Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Sanchez needs to be the #1 catcher and Jeffers the back up. Much more valuable at the plate than Jeffers, and we're not losing very much defensively. Also, enough with playing them together and alternating them at catcher and DH.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Now he’s using Duran in a 5 run game. Hilarious
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Reminds me of a similar play when Roberto Clemente broke Bob Gibson's leg in the 60s

CRF Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 He's still hitting 103 on the gun, so he seems ok, but don't be surprised if the doof gets the 9th.
