Was archer always wound this tight? My goodness

I Will Tell you that I'm not letting this Archer try shooting at any apples on my head today!

Where is Javier Baez these days?  They don't play them any time soon do they?  That could get ugly.

Baez is on the IL, hurt his thumb celebrating a Tigers win in a scrum at home plate with his teammates.

Yeah, who knew. Frankly I like to see some emotion from guys when they get out of an inning like that...

He’s like the arraez of pitching. Boppin around out there

I think he was always kind of 'dancy' on the mound

The vibe I am getting from Archer is that he's really grateful to be back out on the mound and is kind of proving himself all over again.

I'm always amazed that doesn't happen more often.

The Twins website had a 'top 10 moments' of Joe Mauer's career up on their site to honor Joe's birthday ... I still cannot get past that clip of his last game, coming out of the dugout in his catcher's gear, without the tears welling up

I was actually going though my phone videos the other day and found the clip I shot at the end of the game as he walked off the field.  Same reaction.

Were you at that game?

I was.  My belief that it was going to be his last game was the only reason I went.  Crappy weather and more important things that I should have been doing got ignored.

I wasn't disappointed.

That was one helluva moment.

I really don't like both catchers in the lineup. Not because I'm deathly afraid of losing the dh but because neither are very good hitters and it's a shame to use your dh spot on either on of them.

Hmmm. They seem to have resented your comment.

Darn, he's out.

Aggressive baserunning not working out too well for the Twins so far this year.

My only regret is that we didn't have our normal seats.  We were in the RF corner instead of straight up from 1B.  Didn't have bad seats, but the view from our normal seats would have been so much better.

No issue with that send. Jeffers has to get to 2nd base though.

Wait....is Jeffers NOT on 2nd?!?!?!
