BTW, a more experienced left fielder might have caught the double and most likely would have held the batter to a single.

One thing Baldelli is blind to regularly.  that's considering experience or putting the best player available for a particular position or slot in batting order.

True the defense has not helped him but Dobnak needs to pick it up. Not hopeful for his future right now.

Maybe instead of playing doxtor Welby, the dweebs who are supposed to coach these players should have had him in the minor a long time ago to get used to playing.

Thank God, he signed that multi year contract.  Not a humungous contract, but nevertheless a consistent account payable for the Twins' bean counters.

Not a lot of traffic here tonight. I, personally, was looking forward to Dobnak's start. Not good but I still want him to get the ball every five days the rest of the year.

Agreed, but our minor league isn't our strongest suit, either.  When I see the base running mistakes, the failures of using the cut-off man, the plate discipline, etc. I feel confident in being critical of our minor league

You gotta start Dobnak the rest of the year and see if you have a depth starter. Then if not try to move him to the pen, just do this methodically and don't mess around.
