I believe it was written here and many other places that the organization has depth. Where is it? All we’re missing is Maeda from the rotation, and we’re this close to seeing someone like Jax and Dobnak every 5 days. It’s inevitable we’re going to see them regularly when Happ and Big Mike are traded. And Shoemaker moved to the pen or DFA’d.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Poor Celestino. Guy needs a hit in the worst way

If judging by injuries, i think we are 60 odd feet of depth, which if i remember is a couple extra atmospheres in pressure. If we go up too quickly, we could get the bends...

SanoMustGo Verified Member Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Twins hitters have walked 4 times in the last 4 games, including tonight
BlackducktoSeattleDennis Verified Member Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Wes fault, Catching Coaches fault, both or none of the above????? Coluome was a major mistake and the way they started the season lost their mojo.... Uncle major league manager/Catcher many years told me many teams it is how you start the season off that determines where you end up....... BP was horrible in April and got worse thereafter...... Dug a hole you can't get out of.......
SanoMustGo Verified Member Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Wonder if Rocco is sleeping in the dugout?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Someone please find Brett Gardner’s career BA against the twins. Has to be over .400

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Man, this feels like a blowout high school game where one coach puts in the kid who takes the book.

Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Yankees' broadcast; "Colome is coming in, and he's been their closer, but if you never win, you have to get your closer some work". Savage and inaccurate all at once--quite the feat.
SanoMustGo Verified Member Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Dick says Colome is had an "uneven" year. Lol

IMO Dobnak and Jax are pretty similar pitchers. AAAA guys with some potential to be #5 guys. Jax has already been passed up in two different Rule 5 drafts.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Jeffers basically just did an interpretive dance of the 2021 Twins season.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 $#!t happens on a ball field, even to 100 win teams. That being said, there's a fine line between struggling to play the game at times and looking like complete and utter buffoons.... and in this series the Twins are putting that line far behind themselves.

Let's say you can cut one and only one of the following Twins pitchers: Colome, Shoemaker, Happ, or Dobnak. Who goes and who stays? Now we’ve seen 2 tonight. Colomé, you are the weakest link. Good bye.
