Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2021 Author Posted June 2, 2021 Garlick thought bubble: “a five-run home run ties the game”

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2021 Author Posted June 2, 2021 Donaldson thought bubble that at bat: ”if I hit a 7-run home run here, it gives us a 2 run lead”

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 At least the bleeding has stopped. Elevate our game and apply constant pressure. Leastwise that is what i remember from my first aid classes...
Aerodeliria Verified Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 The Twins thought they were playing the Yankees today; I guess they still do.

ashbury Verified Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Too bad Rortvedt looks so overmatched against the lefty. Wanted him to join this little hit parade that's brewing up.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Kirilloffed to the left field corner! Only down 4 now. Kirilloff replaces Cruz on second.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Sano checks dugout reading/ eye chart as he goes to on deck circle. Tells Rocco: "yep, Skip, I see the wall where the chart is posted on".
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 If this was the Twins on defense, and the bullpen bringing a new pitcher in, you could count on at least 2 scoring and we be at 6-4.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Sano tells Rocco. " Since I can't reach that low, outside pitch, they always strike me out on, how about if I just stand in the left handed hitter's box"?
umterp23 Verified Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 So is it a bonus that Sano hasn't struck out yet? absolutely not

mikelink45 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Terrific Sano gets thrown out and Astudillo loses a base hit. But the real highlight is that Sano has not struck out yet.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Man, I am just done with Sano. He's a sub-replacement value hitter who Ks like crazy, is now consistently hitting with soft contact, and is only playable when he's hot, which lasts for about 7-14 days. This is hard to watch.

mikelink45 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Glad we got the experience of Juan Minaya! The Orioles are happy too.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Bringing up Minaya never made any sense, it really only adds to this FO's love for mediocre 30-ish relievers that they think they can fix...
