At this rate of injury, Rocco's gonna have to dust off the cleats and hop in the game.

He won't have a clue where to play or what to do.

Say what you want about Garver, but he's a tough SOB

Ya gotta be tough when you can't play defense and your offense has gone south.

I apologize for all the negativity.  I'm gonna walk away for a while, and come back with a better attitude.

Oh he'll be fine.  I'm sure he has the most sophisticated shift chart ever conceived.

How long were you nuking that pasta? 25 minutes?! ?

Just stopping in to say I miss the days of interesting baseball chatter here on this site. Alas, there's not much fun to be had these days. The Twins are not unlucky, they're not snakebit - they're really, really bad. And I don't see any reason for hope, aside from a Buxton return and 3-4 miracles out of St. Paul.

Season was over by Mother's Day. Didn't even make it to Memorial Day! Never woulda thunk it.

That would have been the top of the 1st! :)

I know umping is a touchy subject, but does Dick really think that a MLB ump will be influenced by a clunky half plate pull of a pitch. The pitch was off the plate, but as a rule all you do is aggravate a plate umpire by pulling pitches that far. My question to a catcher who did that was, "if the pitch was a strike, how come you had to pull it 6”? Framing pitches is about receiving the ball comfortably, not jerking them a foot!

Refsnyder is hitting well for a guy whose ultimate fate is likely to be an obscure answer to a Twins' trivia question.

Our .400 hitter at .275, and that is better than it has been.

RISP..... grounder to second. Make that .273

Roy says sometimes the game changes course on a fluke hit (referencing the first inning). Where do they come up with this
