The problem is that when high level pitchers make not bad pitches, they still get results, because they're good enough to get away with it.  Right now, not bad pitches is the best Rogers has, which is not good enough to be consistently high level.

We’ll see how Thorpe does tomorrow as a starter. I’ve been beating the drum that one of, if not both of Smeltzer and Thorpe should be converted into bullpen arms.
