Diesel Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Author Posted April 13, 2021 Perez is still pitching like he did in 2019 I see...
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Sunny and low 80's in Tucson. Like yesterday. And tomorrow. It's a dry heat though,,,
bighat Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Solid out, Polanco. Great job buddy.Let's get at least one more.
twinbythebay Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 I can only partly watch gameday on this one. How watchable is Happ so far? More watchable than Martin Perez! Which, admittedly, isn't saying much...
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 I like runs. Not to be confused with "the" runs...
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 OK, Team ... See what Polanco just did right there? Remember that in the 10th with a guy on 3rd and less than two outs.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 I do not miss watching Perez do this in a Twins uniform. He'll probably escape this inning with a 1-0 lead, the Red Sox fans will feel hopeful, only to repeat the same act the next two innings before getting lifted.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 That's the disappointing Sano...88 down the middle, on a 3-1 count...barely foul tips it.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 This bodes well. Perez will have to pitch to Luis, or Arraez will happily take the RBI walk.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 I swear this team scores 70% of its runs on homers and outs. For crying out loud.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Glad Arraez beat the relay. Gidp woulda been disappointing.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 ... For crying out loud. Bolded for emphasis...
twinbythebay Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 OK, Team ... See what Polanco just did right there? Remember that in the 10th with a guy on 3rd and less than two outs.Awfully optimistic of you to assume that they moved the runner over to third... Have they even done that in any of the three extra innings?
HawksNest Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Twins, thank God, scored 2 runs that inning....but pretty concerning that they loaded the bases with zero outs and didn't actually get a base hit outside of the lead off man. Gotta convert more on those opportunities! Let's drive some runs in!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Awfully optimistic of you to assume that they moved the runner over to third... Have they even done that in any of the three extra innings?Yes. They even got a single to the outfield, from the first hitter in the 10th, and didn't score.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Over/under on swinging strikes induced by Happ today: 4.5. I got the under.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 So far I am not a fan of the Happ-ening.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Over/under on swinging strikes induced by Happ today: 4.5. I got the under.Under. Who has more swinging strikes: Sano or Happ?
cHawk Community Moderator Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 I swear this team scores 70% of its runs on homers and outs. For crying out loud. They’re called productive outs.
cHawk Community Moderator Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Under. Who has more swinging strikes: Sano or Happ?
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Over/under on swinging strikes induced by Happ today: 4.5. I got the under. I'll take the over! He's already at 4! (If you include foul balls with less than 2 strikes, which after all, is a strike recorded on a swing )
cHawk Community Moderator Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 If Happ can’t get through the 5th then I’m a bit concerned
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 If that had been hit just a wee bit harder... (tailor made triple play)
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 There's swinging strike 5! Give me your money Chief!!!
cHawk Community Moderator Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Like if you think the bullpen will $*** the bed again, quote if you don’t.
